Hello Soccer Fans!
The UEFA Champions League returns this week with the Round of 16 knock out ties. We will have live games at 11:45 am on the 16th and 17th and then again next week on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 23rd and 24th. We’ll also have Europa League games including Liverpool on both the 18th and 25th.
On the national team front, the US Women play in the semi-final of the Concacaf Olympic Qualifying tournament at 5:30 pm on Friday the 19th. The winner of that game automatically qualifies for this summer’s Olympic Games in Rio. We will find out who the US will play tomorrow evening – likely Guyana or Trinidad and Tobago. So far, the stars are aligning for a potential USA v. Canada final on the 21st.
